More pics for Hill Airforce Base

Airplane, missles and more airplanes!!!!

We took the kiddo's to Hill Airforce Base Muesum today, with Ken. Parker was so excited, until we actually got there. A little temper tantrum ensued and he wanted to go home. About 5 minutes later he warmed up and went from airplane to airplane and enjoyed it. Abbie enjoyed playing with the ropes more than the actual airplanes. Overall it was fun and now Parker wants to go back...so maybe when they have an airshow we will be there again.

A month of great loss....

This month has been an extremely sad time for our family. On May 5th 2009, our grandmother Ruth Baker passed away. She was such an example of how we should live our lives. She showed us what it meant to be christ like. We will miss her dearly, and look forward to the day we will see her again. On May 31,2009, we lost another great role model, our grandfather, Leland Crowley left us. He too was an amazing example and will be truly missed by all of us left behind. And as some say these things happen in three's....our third happen on June 25th, 2009 our dear Aunt Net passed away due to cancer, which she fought valiantly and with such courage and strength. We are so thankful that each of these wonderful people are part of our lives and that we had the opportunity to have them in our family.

We know that our Heavenly Father has a plan and through that plan our family will go on FOREVER!!! We are so thankful for this wonderful plan and we will miss our loved ones until we see them again. Until then sending all our love to all those who have gone on to pave the way for us...TOL!!!(tons of love)

Kids night out with mom and dad

Pj and I had decided that since we hadn't spent too much time with the kids the last few weekends that we would take them out on a "date night." So after work we went to get the kids from daycare and told them that we had a surprise plan for the night. We had decided to take them to discovery gateway. The whole car ride there Parker would say "prise for me too." It was cute, but very repeatitive.
Once we got there Parker and Abbie didn't know what to do first, so like any kid they ran from toy to toy, exhibit to exhibit and then back to the exhibits that they liked. It was funny and good times were had. But like the space cadet that I am I forgot my camera, however I managed to get a few good ones with my phone.
We topped the night off with dinner at the Olive Garden, which was probably the funniest moment of the night. When the waiter came over to get us drinks Parker said "cheese, I want cheese" the waiter then replied "is it just the shredded ramono that he likes? I will get him a plate with some." Unbeknowest to the waiter Parker meant Macoroni and Cheese. Needless to say Parker made the waiter blush...it was classic. We all had a good time and plan more of these nights.

1st Summer BBQ!!!

So we had our first offical summer BBQ!!! It was great for Parker and Abbie to see their cousins. We had a late celebration for mother's day and my birthday, since we were coping with the loss of our beloved grandma. I am so thankful for my parents, they were so happy to be with all of us and celebrate although they are still grieving.

Cedic is getting so big, he rode his bike without training wheels, however uncle PJ told him that he would show him how to do "bike jumps" when he is a bit bigger. Then later apologized to his parents. So we will have to see how that pans out next time we see him.

Parker and Abbie loved following their cousins all over the house and around the block. Although we need to work on Abbie as far as manners go. She wouldn't share. Poor Parker and Frankie were so upset that Pa's pool wasn't ready for the summer...but Pa promised in 10 days it would be, so I am sure we will be there for that.

Some Random Pic's from this last week

These are just some silly pics from the events this week. Parker found a bear from build a bear that PJ had made for me while we were dating, he took the Buzz Lightyear jacket off and insisted on wearing it, to my surprise it actually fit width wise around his chest. The one of Abbie was after church on Sunday...she was not having the best day and for some reason went to her table and this is how we found here 5 minutes later. The other one is Parker helping his grandpa mow the lawn, this is the first time that he actually wanted to help without being afraid of the lawn mower. He even earned a dollar...he was excited to help pa and ran in and told everyone "I help pa and got dollar in my pocket!"

(these pics were taken from my phone, so they aren't the best quality!!!)
