Christmas Time

We had a great Christmas this year. Parker and Abbie couldn't wait for Christmas this year. Once we got the tree up, every morning they were expecting to see presents from Santa. On Christmas morning they were extremely happy after weeks of waiting.

We took them downtown to see the lights and to show them why we celebrate Christmas. It was so cold, but so amazing to feel the spirit that came when we were watching the nativity scene and listening to the Prophet talk about the birth of Christ. (although Parker did fall asleep at some point while we watched)I am so thankful for Our Heavenly Father, for sending us our Savior, we are truly blessed by his birth and his atonement.

We hope that everyone had a very Merry Christmas and will have a great New Year! Happy Holidays!!!

My little trick or treaters!!!!

We had an awesome time trick or treating this year. Both kiddo's understood what to do and exhibited good manners. It was so cute to hear Abbie tell everyone that gave her candy "thank you and HAPPY halloween" in her cute little voice. And our cute little pirate making sure that his little sister didn't miss out on getting candy, he would wait until she had picked her candy out and then it "was come on ABBIE, run!" Now we just have to figure out how to keep them away from all that candy!!! Hope everyone had a great halloween....can't wait to see what next year will bring!!!

Gardner Village-Pre Halloween Fun

We spent 2 weekends in a row at Gardner Village, visiting the witches. Both Parker and Abbie loved it. Parker said "no witches will get me" and "i will safe you from the witches, don't worry I will hold your hand!" It was so sweet. They enjoyed getting their faces painted, riding ponies, talking with the witches and spending time outside in the cold! Now we are even more excited for Halloween. Only 2 more weeks!!! YAY!!!!!

More pics for Hill Airforce Base

Airplane, missles and more airplanes!!!!

We took the kiddo's to Hill Airforce Base Muesum today, with Ken. Parker was so excited, until we actually got there. A little temper tantrum ensued and he wanted to go home. About 5 minutes later he warmed up and went from airplane to airplane and enjoyed it. Abbie enjoyed playing with the ropes more than the actual airplanes. Overall it was fun and now Parker wants to go back...so maybe when they have an airshow we will be there again.

A month of great loss....

This month has been an extremely sad time for our family. On May 5th 2009, our grandmother Ruth Baker passed away. She was such an example of how we should live our lives. She showed us what it meant to be christ like. We will miss her dearly, and look forward to the day we will see her again. On May 31,2009, we lost another great role model, our grandfather, Leland Crowley left us. He too was an amazing example and will be truly missed by all of us left behind. And as some say these things happen in three's....our third happen on June 25th, 2009 our dear Aunt Net passed away due to cancer, which she fought valiantly and with such courage and strength. We are so thankful that each of these wonderful people are part of our lives and that we had the opportunity to have them in our family.

We know that our Heavenly Father has a plan and through that plan our family will go on FOREVER!!! We are so thankful for this wonderful plan and we will miss our loved ones until we see them again. Until then sending all our love to all those who have gone on to pave the way for us...TOL!!!(tons of love)
